This policy describes how AdoptionSignal, operated by Launch1Labs LLC, handles information associated with this website and the AdoptionSignal application.
AdoptionSignal is an AI adoption and workforce research prototype. It is not currently offered commercially, public registration is disabled, and the application is not available to external users.
Application access is restricted to accounts specifically authorized by Launch1Labs LLC for internal testing and evaluation.
What this website collects
- Website visitors: aggregate page-view counts by day, page, and referring site. No cookies, identifiers, or IP addresses are stored for this purpose.
- Operational logs: request metadata such as timestamps, IP addresses, and error messages, used to diagnose problems and prevent abuse. Retained for a limited period (currently the logging provider's 30-day default).
Public registration, access-request, demo, design-partner, and commercial onboarding forms are disabled. This website does not collect contact details.
What the application can store
- Authorized internal accounts: the application may store an email address and, where Google authentication is used, a display name and profile photo URL. Signing in may create an authentication record with Firebase even where no application access is granted.
- Prototype application data: when the application is used for internal testing or evaluation, it can process teams, people, scores, workflows, interview transcripts, and related diagnostic information.
Information the prototype can process
AdoptionSignal is capable of processing information such as names, roles, capability assessments, workflow information, interview content, and sentiment responses.
Because the application is currently restricted to internal testing and evaluation, anyone authorized to use it is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate permission to enter any personal information they provide.
Diagnostic outputs may aggregate certain information, including sentiment and capability signals, rather than displaying individual responses. The prototype includes aggregation safeguards intended to avoid displaying individual sentiment responses where a group is too small.
What we don't collect
- Tracking pixels, ad cookies, or third-party analytics.
- Browsing history outside this site.
- Files or content from other tabs or applications.
Where information is processed
- Database: Google Cloud SQL (Postgres), us-east1. Encrypted at rest by default.
- Authentication: Firebase Authentication is used to authenticate accounts specifically authorized for internal testing and evaluation.
- LLM processing: certain prototype features may send interview content, diagnostic context, and scoring prompts to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's applicable API data-use and retention terms govern that processing.
During an interview flow, a person's name (derived from their sign-in email), role, and team name may be included so the interface can address them naturally. Subsequent processing passes refer to the person only as "the subject".
Retention and deletion
Data created through authorized internal use may be retained as necessary to operate, secure, test, or evaluate the prototype and may be deleted when no longer required. Requests to access or delete information associated with an authorized account can be sent to the contact below and will be acted on by Launch1Labs LLC.
Security
Application data is scoped by workspace-level authorization controls and is available only through authenticated API calls. The sample diagnosis, which uses fictional data, is served publicly without authentication. Connections use HTTPS only. No system is perfect. If a security incident affects personal information handled by the application, Launch1Labs LLC will respond in accordance with applicable law and its internal security procedures.
Children
The website and application are not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the effective date.
